Built in 1828 to a design that was suggested by William Smith, often referred to as the “Father of English Geology” the museum houses a range of geological artefacts. It is open daily (except Monday) from 10am until 5pm. Admission charges are: Adults - £4.50 Under 18’s - Free The long distance walk “The Cleveland Way” passes close to this museum.
