The Kent Cavern is a site that was once home to Stone Age people. Entry into the Caverns is by guided tour only and takes about 1 hour, but allow 2 1/2 hours for the full Kent Cavern attraction. Besides the caves there is a woodland trail and for the kids activities that they can try such as an archaeological “dig”, face painting and cave painting. Facilities include: visitors center, restaurant, bar, free car park and private functions. The Kents Cavern is open all year except Christmas day and Boxing Day. It opens each day at 10 am but closing times are seasonal. The start times of guided tours vary throughout the year but can be confirmed at the website. Adults £7.90 and concessions for children, students, OAP and families Wheelchair access to the caves is restricted.
