Tolcarne Beach is located in close proximity to the city of Newquay and can be reached over a long descend from the cliff that involves climbing more than 200 steps - which makes it not ideal for those with mobility problems. Once at the bottom of the 150 ft high cliff the visitor will be rewarded with fine, white sand and views over the harbour of the town. Due to its westerly aspects it is also a good location for surfing and there is also a surfing school on site. Further amenities on the beach include a cafe, shop, toilets and crazy golf. Lifeguards during the summer months, parking facilities in town within walking distance.
