The Derwent has clean rooms, welcoming staff, good entertainment and a list of activities and facilities you’d have difficulty matching anywhere else.

Breakfast is really top notch and just the thing to set you up for the day. Later dining choices, too, are impressive and appetising.

There are so many facilities and activities here that you take it all for granted. Entertainment and cabaret is great and all included. You can’t knock that!

If you find a space … quick; go and buy a car! Spaces can be difficult to find +, really, with the local bus stop outside the hotel, do you really need the car once you’ve parked it up?

It happens at breakfast too. You are allocated a table and ‘that’ is where you will sit! Understandable in a way, but a bit unnerving.

Rooms can get too hot; windows are difficult to open so it becomes unpleasant, particularly for night sleeping.
