City of Manchester Stadium Museum and Tour (Manchester, United Kingdom)

The City of Manchester Stadium is now the home of Manchester City Football Club. It has a capacity of 48,000 seats and is also used for local rugby matches and concerts. The venue was used for the first time for the XVII Commonwealth Games in 2002 and is the focal point of Sportcity. The museum contains a collection of memorabilia covering aspects of the Club’s history. The tour includes a behind the scenes look at the City of Manchester Stadium, including the players tunnel, dug outs and one of the executive lounges. The price for adults of £8.75 includes City Experience and Stadium Tour. The stadium is open seven days a week. Opening hours are from Monday to Saturday 9.30 - 16.30 (first tours are at 9.45, last 16.15) and on Sunday 11.00 - 15.00 (first tour 11.00, last 14.45).
