Main Beach at Abersoch is about 2 km long and sheltered, with water considered safe for swimming and wind conditions that make it popular for boating and windsurfing. There is an exclusion zone kept safe from watercraft for swimmers. The beach is not suitable for surfing. The beach is lined by beach huts which can be rented by the day or week. The main facilities are near the Abersoch end, but there are some (toilets, cafes, stalls and water sport equipment hire) along most of the beach’s length. Dogs and cars are banned from some areas of the beach but allowed on others.
