The Thistle Rougemont a 3-star hotel, located near Exeter railway station and within walking distance of the historic city centre with its Roman walls and 12th century cathedral. It is also a short drive to many of Devon's family adventure and theme parks. The Victorian era building has 98 bedrooms and suites, most of which have been recently refurbished. All rooms have coffee and tea making facilities, flat screen TV with Freeview, hairdryer, ironing facilities, trouser press, writing desk as well as en-suite wet-room shower with complimentary toiletries. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Guests at the hotel can take advantage of the dining opportunities at the on-site Drakes Restaurant, which was recently refurbished, or alternatively at the Nelson Lounge/bar, which serves drinks and light snacks. Room service is also available. The hotel also boasts 11 air-conditioned meeting and function rooms, the largest of which can seat up to 320 people.
