Wortley House Hotel (Scunthorpe, United Kingdom)

There have been a few guests who arrived with families who were very pleasantly surprised to find that they had been upgraded to a larger suite, but not at any extra cost. Guests loved the extra space, and the airy feeling. There was plenty of space for each family member to find their own spot.

If you fancy a brisk fifteen minute walk, then you will not have an issue getting around at all. The train station is conveniently located for guests at Wortley House, where you can literally go in any direction once you get there.

Although breakfast doesn't have many tasty choices, the classy on-site restaurant does have a reputation for serving scrumptious lunches and dinners, while the bar/lounge will serve speciality cocktails after dinner.

Visitors have commented that the breakfast menu is not very varied, and the fresh fruit is not fresh at all. It doesn't change much from one morning to the next, so at least you can rest assured that you know what you will be having every morning.

Although Wortley House has had a good reputation in the past for being well kept, some guests do say that it can benefit from an upgrade, both in the rooms, as well as the exterior. The furniture has started to look a little shabby, and the building could do with a coat of paint.

Although house keeping does clean the rooms every day, some visitors feel that a little more time could be spent in each room. It might be a good idea to do a deep clean every once in a while.
