Withernsea Lighthouse (Withernsea, United Kingdom)

The Withernsea Lighthouse ceased active service in 1976 and has since been open to visitors, along with it’s adjoining cottages, as a local history museum. Unusually for a lighthouse it is actually located some way away from the coast and is a well known landmark in the surrounding area. The museum is open weekdays 11h00 to 17h00 ( June to September) and on weekends between 13h00 and 17h00.
