Hotel staff are warm and friendly while still offering efficient and highly-motivated service. Most of the staff are local and can also offer great tips and advice on where to eat out, best places to visit as well as helping with bookings and ticket information.

The placement of The Manor Hotel is such that it affords some of the best sea views over Exmouth Bay, not just from most of the hotel rooms, but from the restaurant as well. Being able to enjoy stunning natural vistas over the harbour is one of the definite highlights of a stay here.

The hotel lift is quite old and as such can be quite unreliable at times. When the lift is not working one is forced to take the stairs which are quite steep and may be impossible for elderly guests or those with any sort of mobility difficulties.

The Manor Hotel is a fairly old hotel and some may find the room décor and colour scheme to be a bit dated and in need of a refresher. This does not however effect the quality of room appointments and amenities.

The hotel offers onsite parking which is free of charge for hotel guests. The main issue with this parking however is it is quite limited and it is best to arrive a bit earlier to ensure that a space is available.
