About Grand Hotel Sunderland

Sunderland’s only four star hotel, Sunderland Marriot Hotel overlooks the Sandy Beaches and is for business and leisure travellers alike. Guests can choose between standard or comfort rooms or the suite. All rooms are modern and quite spacious. Comfort rooms and suites have a seaview rotunda but all rooms have a safe, Espresso machine, desk, a thirty two inch flatscreen television and a seating area. This seafront hotel is a full-service hotel that is air conditioned and has Wi-Fi and wheel chair access throughout. The Sunderland Marriot also has a Fitness Centre (inclusive of gym), pool, a lounge business centre, a banquet room and limited free parking for guests. Staff are multilingual and dry cleaning services are available to guests. The onsite Promenade Restaurant promises fine dining and a range of surcharge breakfast options. The hotel is just over three kilometres from the Stadium of Light and the University of Sunderland.
