Review summary

Summarized by AI from 200+ reviews

The hotel offers a charming and homely atmosphere, distinguishing itself from larger chain hotels with its unique character and Victorian-era decor. Its signature feature is its exceptional hospitality, provided by a family who consistently makes guests feel welcome and at home. This makes it an ideal choice for leisure travelers, couples, and sightseers looking for a cozy and personalized stay. Many guests attending events at the Barbican Theatre also find it perfectly suited to their needs due to its close proximity. To enhance your stay, consider inquiring about room options if you are particularly sensitive to noise, and be aware that breakfast is an optional extra, which some guests found to be on the pricier side.
