The Reichstag building or German Parliament was opened in 1894, although the Reichstag itself dates back to the time of the Roman Empire. It is one of the landmark buildings in Germany. In 1999 a glass dome was built into the Reichstag which allowed visitors to come into the building and to walk above the heads of the members of the parliament seated below. You can visit the Reichstag between 8am to midnight from Mondays through to Sundays. Prices vary from 0 to 5 dollars.
