The Westin Grand Berlin is a 5 star hotel located on the corner of Friedrichstrasse in the old historic part of Berlin. It’s location places it within easy access to many of the city’s attractions including Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, the Potsdamer Platz and the Gendarmenmarkt. All of the 400 rooms are designated non-smoking and come equipped with all of the standard amenities that one would expect to find in a hotel of this class including air conditioning. Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, bar, indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre and a Spa offering massages and a range of facial and body treatments. Surrounding the Westin Grand Hotel is a 3,000 acre landscaped garden with a glass house known as the Drachenhaus (dragon house) as its focal point. This building is available for private hire and is a popular setting for barbecues and wedding receptions.
