About The Ro Hotel Windermere
The Hydro Hotel was originally built in the 19th century as a water cure hotel and nowadays offers 3-star rooms, looking out over Bowness towards the lake. The Victorian hotel has a swimming pool, spa and sauna and is a six-minute stroll from Bowness. Many rooms have lake views and free Wi-Fi, and all have en-suite bathroom, TV with satellite channels, tea and coffee tray, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer and room service. The hotel has plenty of free parking, conference facilities, the largest of which is able to fit up to 200 delegates, and an on-site mini gym. Both bar and restaurant at The Hydro Hotel hotel are open all day providing hearty breakfasts, light lunch choices and traditional English meals at dinnertime. Enjoy tasty treats with afternoon tea. Many Lakes Districts walking trails are nearby and the Windermere Golf Club is just over 2 miles away, while the Cartmel Racecourse is half an hours’ drive away.
