The Great Orme is a limestone headland that can be found right behind Llandudno an be reached either by tramway, car, taxi or walk. The park rises up to 679 ft above sea level and is two miles long and one mile wide. The park has been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its flora and geology but is also a Special Area of Conservation and Heritage Coast. There is a visitor centre at the summit of the park where you can find out more about the historical importance of the headland, several sign-posted trails lead from here. Entry to park and visitor centre are free.
