The Holiday Inn at Winchester is a four star hotel which opened in 2010. It is located about two miles outside the city centre. It has 141 rooms, categorised as Standard, Family, Executive and Suites. All have en-suite facilities, air-conditioning, wifi, satellite TV, desk, phone and modem port, hospitality tray, iron and board. Family rooms, Executive rooms and Suites have more space, and Executive rooms and Suites have finer quality linen. All rooms are non-smoking and some are equipped for wheelchair access. There are two lifts and a large private car park. The hotel offers all-day eating options, either lunch and dinner in the restaurant, or a bar menu and coffee in the bar. A set-price carvery is served in the restaurant on Sundays. Room service is also available. For corporate events and meetings there are 8 fully equipped seminar rooms. Social events are also catered for and there is a full wedding package of meal, accommodation and entertainment. A session at the neighbouring Intech planetarium can also be arranged as part of an event.
