War Museum (Athens, Greece)

The War Museum includes military artefacts from ancient times right through to modern 21st century items. In the modern sections there are swords, bombs, torpedoes as well as larger items including aircraft. Whilst the older sections has stone axes and primitive tools and weapons. A large exhibition is dedicated to Greece’s role in campaigns, battles and wars. Admission is free. It is open daily (except Monday) from 9am until 2pm Tuesday to Saturday and from 9.30am until 2pm on Sundays.
