St Michael at the Northgate (Oxford, United Kingdom)

This is the City Church of Oxford and the 13th-century Anglo-Saxon building still maintains the original tower (circa 1040) which formed part of the city walls and is the oldest building in Oxford. The church features some of the oldest stained-glass windows in the UK and the door from Thomas Cranmer’s prison is on display in the tower. The nave offers seating for 120 and regular services are held. Private prayer options are provided between 10h30 and 17h00 daily and facilities for disabled visitors are available. A tariff of £1.50 is levied for visitors who wish to access the top of the tower.
