About The Golden Pheasant Inn
The Golden Pheasant, in the centre of Burford, dates back to the 1700s. This authentic pub and restaurant also provides en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation for visitors to the Cotswolds region. Some rooms at the Golden Pheasant feature a 4 poster double bed. They all include colour television, Wi-Fi and beverage making facilities, plus towels that are changed on a daily basis. The convivial and well stocked public bar, complete with oak beams, stone fireplaces and log fire, hosts occasional live entertainment. It also sports several large screen televisions featuring major sporting events. Free parking is available. The restaurant serves breakfast, followed by lunch and dinner where chicken, steak, pasta and pizza dishes are the order of the day. This is also a venue for locally arranged social events. Blenheim Palace, Sudeley Castle, Cheltenham and numerous Cotswold villages, are within an easy car journey from the inn.
