Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
This hotel offers a uniquely cozy and welcoming experience, distinguished by its transformation from an old school building into a charming accommodation. Guests consistently highlight the exceptional hospitality provided by the staff, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere. The hotel is praised for its clean and comfortable rooms and the delicious home-cooked meals served on-site. Its strategic location near the Studlagil Canyon makes it an ideal base for sightseers and adventure seekers exploring the Ring Road. Road trippers, families, and couples will find it a convenient and comfortable stopover. Given Iceland's unpredictable weather, guests are advised to be prepared for potential road closures and to appreciate the hotel's flexibility in such situations. Additionally, taking advantage of the hotel's dining options is highly recommended due to its somewhat isolated setting.
