Hotel Ca' Del Moro (Lido di Venezia, Italy)

The Oxford University Botanic Gardens sit just off the High Street directly opposite Magdalen College and close to the river. Formed 380 years ago, it is the oldest botanic garden in Britain and it holds a national reference collection of more than 7000 plants. The gardens are laid out in three sections - the greenhouses, the walled garden and the area outside the walled garden. The opening hours vary by season, but generally the gardens open at 9 am and close at 6 pm in the summer and between 4.30 and 5 at other times of year. There is an admission fee at most times (although on winter weekdays admission is by donation rather than fee). The fee is approximately £2.50.
