The Boardwalk and Market Square (Saint John, Canada)

Saint John’s Market Square has been used for decades as the city’s premiere festival area. In the summertime, the Boardwalk comes to life as a market area and as a festival place, boasting both artisans and Buskers from around the country. The Boardwalk/Market Square area is of the most popular summertime tourist attractions in Saint John. Take a walk on the Boardwalk to get a good look at the historic Saint John Harbour. Where the Boardwalk ends is where the Harbour Passage begins; the Harbour Passage is a development project upon which you can currently walk all the way to the Reversing Falls (about a 45 minute stroll). The Boardwalk is a common hot-spot in the evenings for concerts, outdoor film events, and firework displays. Have dinner at one of the many great restaurants that Market Square has to offer, and then catch some evening entertainment, compliments of the city.
