This Renaissance castle is located about 30km from Beaune and features a moat as well as 25 acres of parks and gardens. Locally grown fruit and vegetables are for sale and the shop also offers jams, condiments, souvenirs, books and more. Wine tastings and lunches can be arranged and special themed events are presented from time to time. Open to the public between 10h00 and 18h00 from April to November, the Château de Sully offers opportunities to explore the garden and park as well as enjoy a guided tour of part of its interior. Sections of the Château are still home to the MacMahon family and is not open to the public. Guided tours last approximately 50 minutes and commence at 10:30, 14.30, 15.30 and 16.30.
