The Sligo Live Festival 2014 is the last big festival of the year celebrating 10 years of quality music on the Wild Atlantic Way from 22nd – 27th October 2014. Ireland’s Folk, Roots & Indie Festival is spread across Sligo town with all its performances in fantastic indoor locations. Highlights of this year’s Sligo Live festival includes over 80 performances from 300 performers over 6 days, amongst them are SHERYL CROW, Michael McGoldrick Quartet, O’Hooley & Tidow and many more. Also there will be a 3-Stage Festival Club with Festival Club Headliners Rackhouse Pilfer, The Riptide Movement and Renegade Brass Band. During the festival period, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy many of Sligo’s year round activities such as Beach, Hill and Forest walks, Boating, Fishing, Surfing, Sailing, Camping, Golf etc., all in a beautiful natural environment which makes for the perfect break.
