Centralen plazh (Burgas, Bulgaria)

The central beach in Burgas is one of two beach in the city. It lies along the Sea garden. The beach is more than a kilometer long and 30 meters wide in places. The sand is fine, yellow but there are places where it is black. This is due to a high content of iron, manganese and magnesium. The beach offers its guests parasols and sun beds, a rescue service, changing cabins and access facilities for people with disabilities. There are facilities for beach volleyball and other activities. There are many bars and restaurants along the sea front. On the central beach is located one of the symbols of town Burgas – the bridge of the city. Near the beach there are bus stops, where you can catch the bus to the neighbourhoods in Burgas, and to Burgas Airport, Pomorie, Sunny Beach and South coast. The railway station there is also near the beach. Next to central beach is situated the five-star rated hotel Primorets. Since three years ago in August is held the International Festival Spirit Of Burgas on the central beach.
