Badija (Korcula, Croatia)

Badija is a small island of approximately 1 square km which is located in close vicinity to Korčula Island and a 30-minute boat ride away from Korčula Town. It offers pebble beaches on one side of the island and stone beaches on the other. Some of the beaches are naturist and both tourists and locals visit the island to swim, fish, hike or have picnics, with pine trees offering shade and comfort on hot summer’s days. Badija is also home to a Franciscan Monastery which was built in the 14th century.
