Yunus Hotel (Marmaris, Turkey)

The Yunus receives a lot of positive comments for its location on the Marmaris Bay with its direct access to Uzunyali Beach and to several bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel is also conveniently placed for sightseeing and the area's tourist attractions. Amenities such as free Wi-Fi and AC, free sun beds and free calls from the reception, and the cosy atmosphere of the hotel receive appreciative mentions.

The Yunus hotel appears to offer good value for money. The rooms and pool area are well appointed and clean. The hotel has its own bar and a very good restaurant, which isn't too expensive either. The breakfast buffet is good too, say guests.

The friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and central location means that many guests end up staying here repeatedly. Many first time guests express the wish to return as well.

The rooms are compact at best and do not have a lot of room to spread out felt guests. Some guests also felt that the rooms needed some sprucing up and maintenance fixes. A few guests also said that the bathrooms were small and dated; needing some overhauling with new fixtures.

The staff and service is very good, courteous and helpful say some guests, but others felt that the staff is indifferent and sullen, even a bit rude at times. One or two guests were upset by the restaurant staff and chose to eat elsewhere.

Fridge use is charged extra. There is local entertainment which gets noisy. The rooms above the kitchen are noisy too.
