The downstairs bar is open each evening and filled with a mixture of local characters and visiting tourists. The atmosphere is very laid back and the perfect place for you to wind down of an evening with a drink and a chat.

The staff here are both professional and friendly, making you feel at ease when making a request and welcomed to make yourself at home. If you’re unsure of what to do in the area, just ask any of the people working here for ideas.

Situated on the promenade in Penzance, just walk out of the front doors and breathe in to fill your lungs with fresh sea air. The docks and South West Coast Path are both easily reached by foot.

Breakfast is served buffet style, with steel containers full of various different food items being kept warm. The ingredients used aren’t top quality and the whole dining experience here is unlikely to satisfy you.

This old seaside hotel has seen better days, and is now slowly crumbling away with stained carpets, loose fittings and worn furniture. The management need to carry out a complete refurbishment to bring this hotel back to its former glory.

If you need to access the internet while you stay at Queens you will probably end up having to go downstairs to the lobby to do so. The Wi-Fi signal is weak so it can’t reach most of the upper floor rooms here.
