Review summary
Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews
The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, distinguished by its unique individual cabin-style rooms that seamlessly blend into the stunning Icelandic landscape. This design provides a sense of peace and tranquility, making it an ideal retreat for couples, nature lovers, and road-trippers exploring the South Coast. Guests consistently praise the comfortable accommodations, breathtaking views, and the quality of the dining experience. The hotel is particularly well-suited for those seeking a quiet base from which to explore the natural wonders of Iceland, offering a serene escape after a day of adventure. For sightseers and those on a self-guided tour, its strategic location is a significant advantage. To enhance your stay, consider requesting a room with a direct lake view for optimal scenery, and be mindful that the cabins can become very warm due to solar gain and in-floor heating, so adjusting the temperature upon arrival is recommended.
