Kildonan Lodge Hotel

Kildonan Lodge is a 4 star family run hotel in Edinburgh. The Victorian house dates from 1874 but has been sympathetically restored to provide modern accommodation while retaining its original style. Rooms are divided into Romantic Four Poster, Executive King, Classic Double and Family. The first two types have en-suite jacuzzi, and the Executive King rooms are at ground floor level. All rooms are individually designed and have en-suite facilities, complimentary wifi, tea and coffee making facilities and courtesy tray, flat screen TVs and iPod docking station. The hotel is non-smoking throughout. There is a car park but no lift. In a separate building is Garden Lodge with 3 rooms, a lounge and conservatory. The rooms can be booked individually or for a group. Small corporate events and weddings can be catered for. Mathew’s Restaurant in the hotel is run by an award-winning chef. There is also a bar with an open fire for colder weather. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Business guests will appreciate the easy access to the business and university district and leisure guests will find the attractions only 1.5 miles away in the city centre.
