Review summary

Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews

The hotel, a historic building that was once military barracks, offers a unique and authentic experience, providing great value for money for travelers. Its spacious rooms and friendly staff are consistently highlighted as major positives, contributing to a comfortable stay. It's an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers and sightseers who appreciate a blend of history and practicality, as it serves as an excellent base for exploring the city. Couples and solo travelers seeking a no-frills yet clean and welcoming environment will find it particularly suitable. To make the most of your visit, be prepared for an older aesthetic and consider requesting a room not facing the main road to minimize potential noise. Guests should also be aware that there is no elevator, which might be a consideration for those with heavy luggage or mobility concerns.
