About The Waterwheel

The Waterwheel is set within a wooded river valley just a brisk 10 minute walk from St Austell town. Perfectly situated in central Cornwall enabling people to explore all of this beautiful county and with the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan only a few miles away. Guests can also explore our own lost valley gardens with beautiful seating areas, waterfalls and ponds; perfect for an end of day stroll or a glass or two amongst the towering tree ferns. A three minute walk through the garden leads to an ancient baptisry/Holy Well, Druid's seat and more waterfalls and ponds. Our on site restaurant is a perfect and relaxing end to busy day's exploration.
