About Newforge House
Cradled in beautiful gardens and green fields, Newforge House offers warm hospitality and superb food in tranquil surroundings. John and Lou Mathers opened Newforge to guests in May 2005. The light, airy rooms feature antiques and period features which blend seamlessly with contemporary comforts and offer views of our gardens and surrounding countryside. We have a passion for local, seasonal produce which John showcases in our daily dinner menu. Our vegetable garden and orchard provide wonderful homegrown produces whilst our friendly chickens lay wonderful eggs for breakfast. Located only 30 minutes drive from Belfast and having the shores of Lough Neagh a few minutes away Newforge is the perfect base for exploring Northern Ireland.
