Hotel Doña Blanca (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain)

Dona Blanca's position, right in the centre of Jerez, was by far what guests most appreciated about the hotel. They loved  that they could pretty much just walk out the door and be in the heart of the Old Town, with its great buildings, atmosphere, and perhaps most importantly of all, streetlife. Also mentioned was that the railway station was well within walking distance.

While guests didn't fall over themselves to declare this, many did say that they found the room rates at Dona Blanca maybe just a little more reasonable than at other equivalent hotels, leading them to conclude that they had received decent value for money.

A surprising number of guests specifically mentioned the air conditioning in their rooms. They said that it was a lifesaver in summer, and that the units were more than up to the task of taking the edge off the Andalusian heat.

It was hard to find a good word written about the breakfast. Guests didn't go into great detail about what specifically they disliked, but it seems it was simply regarded as too ordinary and unexceptional, a sin that was, to some, worse than actually being bad.

Several guests mentioned that, given the central location, street parking was extraordinarily difficult to find in the area. It seems that the hotel has only limited off-street parking, so it would be best to confirm availability beforehand.

A few guests pointed out that, unfortunately, there was a price to pay for being in such a terrific central location. That price was a bit of street noise from revellers and others down bellow
