Hotel Apollon

This simple Hotel is situated in Metsovo. The total number of units is 40. Pets are not allowed at Apollon Metsovo.The rooms are furnished in a traditional style, with wood being the material of choice and heavy carpets and curtains to complement a very warm feeling. Some have balcony overlooking the imposing mountains of Pindos, white and snowed over during winter and lush green during summer. On the top floor a number of rooms have been converted to attics with four poster beds and wonderful views of the surrounding areas. Modern comforts such as Satellite TV, refrigerator, safe and hydro massage shower are available for all.The lobby is medium sized and almost completely dressed in wood and decked with local stone slabs, giving it a unique local colour. The seating area with the weaved pillows and embroidered curtains also has a large fireplace to warm up the guests during winter. Traditional brass utensils and old photographs complete the decoration.The hotel is located within walking distance from the cobbled main square of Metsovo. The snow piste and national park of Valia Calda is within easy driving distance and Ioannina is about an hour\'s scenic drive away.
