About Hotel Ambassador

  • Two distinct on-site dining options

Choose between international cuisine at Le Pavillon or Japanese teppanyaki dishes at Taishi restaurant.

  • Indoor pool and sauna facilities

Utilize the on-site spa area featuring an indoor swimming pool, fitness room, and sauna during your stay.

  • Open concept bathroom privacy limitations

Select guest rooms feature bathrooms separated by translucent glass walls rather than fully enclosed, opaque doors.

  • Direct tram access to center

Board the tram at the stop located directly in front of the hotel for a seven-minute ride to the city center.

  • Tight underground parking garage dimensions

The on-site underground parking garage may present maneuvering challenges for larger vehicle models.

  • Older building and room decor

The property and guest room furnishings reflect an older building design and may show signs of wear.

The 4-star Hotel Ambassador, renovated in 2013 by architect Ali Tayar, offers panoramic city and mountain views. It is located near the Gurten funicular station, providing direct access to Gurten Mountain. Key amenities include an indoor pool, spa facilities, and the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant Taishi.
