Boutique Hotel The Roosevelt can you find at the centre of medieval Middelburg. The hotel was built on the same site as the medieval fortress or ‘burg’ to which Middelburg owes its name. Directly opposite the hotel you will find the famous Abbey with the tall church tower called ‘De Lange Jan’. The ‘Zeeuws Museum’ and the provincial government of Zeeland is also situated here. The street on which our hotel is located leads to the town’s market square and its famous town hall. Behind the hotel is the main shopping high street area which has more than 30 restaurants situated within 500 metres from our hotel. The hotel offers 28 boutique rooms, which means that every room is uniquely different and the interior has been designed specifically for each individual room. There are 23 boutique rooms and 5 boutique suites, crowned by the Presidential Suite. There is also the hotel bar called The Orient and a beautiful courtyard garden - an oasis in the centre of Middelburg. Secured parking is available in an indoor car park nearby.
