Great location for pavement-pounders
With must-see sights like the Old Town, Mozart's birthplace and Mirabell Palace all within an easy walk, this hotel is a great option if you're someone who likes to explore on foot. Having the main train station less than a mile away is pretty handy too.

Breakfast is well worth it
Hearty, tasty and free: the breakfasts at AllYouNeed Salzburg are, well, all you need...

Terrace views are a real treat
As good (and free) as the food is, it is the rooftop terrace which is the real attraction at breakfast. Looking out across the rooftops at Salzburg's historic cityscape is a glorious way to start the day. It's a pretty safe bet that you'll fall in love with breakfast times at this hotel - even if you're someone who doesn't normally ‘do' mornings.

Lack of air-conditioning isn't good
You would have thought that, this being a seasonal hotel (it opens only from July to September), it would have everything in place to ensure guests enjoy an entirely comfortable stay during the summer. Not so. The absence of any air-conditioning units can make guest accommodations uncomfortably muggy during warm spells.
negative:
Can be noisy at night
Some guests have commented that this hotel can be a little noisy after dark. Chief culprits in this respect are clanky lifts and visitors who have been allowed to party ‘till late. You may want to pack some ear plugs, just in case.

That's about it...
Whilst the absent air-conditioning and impromptu disturbances after dark can be problematic, it's fair to say that they're relatively minor issues and, as such, are unlikely to spoil your overall experience of what is - on the whole - a quite pleasant place to stay.
