    Review summary

Summarized by AI from 300+ reviews

This hotel is a tranquil retreat for couples and sightseers seeking a unique astronomical experience. Nestled in a renowned stargazing region, the property offers breathtaking views of the Yatsugatake mountain range and convenient access to the Nobeyama National Astronomical Observatory. The highlight is the on-site observatory and dedicated stargazing ground, complete with loaner equipment and nightly star-gazing parties guided by "star sommeliers." Guests consistently praise the exceptional hospitality of the staff and the delicious Japanese kaiseki or Western-style steak dinners, featuring tender wagyu steak and fresh, locally sourced vegetables from the hotel's own farm. For an enhanced experience, consider booking a room on a higher floor for optimal views of the surrounding mountains and night sky.
