Venus Hotel (Kalamaki, Greece)

Venus is a family owned and maintained hotel and many guests were repeat visitors who enjoyed the warm and welcoming atmosphere and the way in which they were quickly made to feel like part of the family. Most guests had great praise for the entire staff and said nothing was too much trouble and service was always accompanied with a smile. Many first time visitors said they would definitely be back, others said they would highly recommend this establishment.

Guests who managed to tear themselves away from the swimming pool and nearby beach found plenty to explore on the island. They enjoyed the restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel, some hired scooters or rented cars while others took excursions to the mainland.

From the comfortable rooms with views of the mountains and water, to the plentiful and well prepared breakfast, sparkling swimming pool and congenial bar area, guests loved the warm and relaxing atmosphere of Venus & Suites. The newly added on-site restaurant was also a hit and some guests were so impressed with their overall experience that they felt the hotel's rating should be elevated from three stars to four.

Mosquitos and the absence of screens on the windows presented problems for some guests.

Guests had very few serious complaints about this hotel, but some said it could benefit from a cosmetic update.

A few guests complained that the Wi-Fi was too slow.
