    About The Grey Gull Hotel

    The Grey Gull Inn was originally built in 1872 as a Hunting Lodge for the Poltalloch Estate. It sits in a prime location bordered by the historic Crinan Canal and Loch Gilp, close to where they both flow into Loch Fyne. Situated at the head of the Mull of Kintyre – made famous by Paul McCartney’s song – and just off the Kilmartin/Oban Road, the Grey Gull Inn is perfectly situated to explore Argyll’s Neolithic and Bronze Age past, as well as Scotland’s scenic beauty at its best. The Grey Gull has recently been refurbished under new ownership and a more extensive menu and a revamped Restaurant to cater for everybody. Proud to say everything is homemade from Steak pie using Arran dark ale,Lager batter with our fresh Haddock with homemade tartare sauce.
