Stella is said to inhabit a central Interlaken spot, just a short stroll away from Interlaken West station and downtown shopping. Furthermore, a handful of those who stayed said they found it to be a great base for making day trips to places like the Jungfrau mountain railway.

Gourmet dining, decent buffet breakfasts.
The breakfast buffet quality was thought to be good by most, including fresh breads and other continental favourites, although a few guests appear to have expected a much richer spread and daily changes. On this note, the other restaurant meals were thought to be delicious and well presented, even if a little pricey for this reason.

According to reviews, the smiling staff service was thought great, with professional and responsive assistance noted across the board´. In addition, some rooms have lovely mountain views, all were said to be clean and tidy, and guests were also happy with the quick Wi-Fi.

Rooms a little tired, expensive, small.
Some guests mentioned that they thought the hotel rooms were in need of renovation, thinking them to be tired and uninspired. Furthermore, some thought them to be a little more expensive than they should have been, especially with a few people considering the rooms to be too small for their needs.

A few Stella guests were disappointed at the lack of air conditioning in summer, but others said they had fans or had no problems with simply opening the window.

Those travelling via Interlaken Ost train station mentioned that it was a bit far away from the hotel to walk, and this/ the lack of shuttle transport for this was bemoaned by a few.
