Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
The hotel offers a truly authentic traditional Japanese ryokan experience, standing out for its exceptional onsen facilities and traditional dining. Guests consistently praise its peaceful atmosphere and unique design, making it feel like a genuine discovery rather than a typical tourist complex. It's an ideal choice for couples seeking a romantic and relaxing getaway, solo travelers looking for a tranquil retreat, and hikers eager to explore the nearby Japanese Alps. Families also find it accommodating, with spacious rooms and attentive service. To enhance your stay, consider notifying the hotel of any dietary restrictions well in advance, as they are highly accommodating. Additionally, bringing enough cash is advisable, as local ATM access is limited, and some establishments are cash-only.
