Review summary

Summarized by AI from 40+ reviews

The hotel is celebrated for its exceptionally concentrated spring water, directly sourced from the nearby Tenjin spring, offering a unique and potent onsen experience that many guests describe as unparalleled in the region. This signature feature makes it an ideal choice for onsen enthusiasts and couples seeking a deeply traditional Japanese stay. Its central location on the main street also appeals to sightseers eager to explore the town's attractions on foot. While the building retains a charming historic ambiance from the Showa era, guests should be prepared for an older structure with steep stairs and some dated elements. To fully appreciate the unique character, guests are advised to embrace the traditional setting and be mindful of the building's layout, especially if they have mobility concerns.
