Royal Hotel Cortina (Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy)

The Royal is a cosy 3 stars hotel with B&B treatment, situated right in the center of Cortina on the pedestrian area 100meters from the bell tower, in an historical building that dates back to 1700, ideal starting point to spend unforgettable holidays in the Dolomites, just a short stroll away from the nearest ski lifts (300 m.) and more important sporting facilities. It is also conveniently served by public transport and adjacent to the hotel there is a private extra charged parking with limited lots that can not be reserved. An antique Venetian style building dating back to 1700, owned by the Menardi Demai family, was transformed into a modern family run hotel in the forties. The hotel’s proprietor, ski instructor and expert alpinist from the alpinist group “Gruppo Scoiattoli” is happy to recommend both winter and summer sporting activities.
