The views of the Atlantic at this resort are absolutely outstanding. Not only were guests able to appreciate the stunning vista from the privacy of their rooms, but this hotel's sun deck faces the sea. For those who wanted to get a bit closer, this property also offered excellent access to Playa de Jandia. The all-around atmosphere here was tranquil and peaceful, enhanced by the relatively small size of this resort in contrast to larger nearby properties.
The cleanliness here is also first-rate. While the rooms themselves were kept to a high standard with a daily cleaning service, the public areas at this hotel are also kept pristine.
The staff here is fantastic. From cleaners, chefs and the reception team, it appears that every member of this hotel's staff will go out of their way to help and assist guests. Visitors are warmly welcomed and the little touches - like chocolates on pillows - aren't forgotten. Guests wary of the indifferent standards that are sometimes a feature of much larger resorts were absolutely delighted by the personal service they received here.
While the food on offer here is fresh, long-staying guests felt that the menu could get rather repetitive after a while. Vegetarians did seem to struggle, but thankfully, the hotel's chefs were happy to create something from scratch as and when needed.
Some felt that the furnishings and décor here are looking tired, dated and in need of a bit of a refresh.
Finally, a few guests noted that the walls here do seem to be a little bit thin for their liking.
