Hotel Suisse (Geneva, Switzerland)

The complimentary Geneva travel cards that were included in a stay here were much appreciated by those wanting to get out and explore the city, since they apparently provided for free land and (limited) water transport, and even covered trips to Geneva Airport.

Those who stayed thought the staff members to be excellent, mentioning that they were courteous, provided maps of the city for free and were happy to help out whenever possible. Guests also liked the fact that the rooms were air conditioned during the summer and that they were comfortable and well cleaned.

This hotel was said to have a fantastically central location for Geneva and guests found that they could easily reach the Geneva Central Train Station, the lake, the old town and plenty of restaurants with a short stroll. The UN HQ is also said to be quickly reached by public transit.

Some minor issues: Guests were a bit disappointed with the lack of variety in the free breakfasts on offer here, the internet was thought to be rather slow, noise disruption from the street was occasionally reported as being somewhat annoying and some people thought that the decor was starting to look faded and perhaps in need of refreshing.
