Hotel Paradise Bay Resort (Cirkewwa, Malta)

The hotel is set in a peaceful setting and tranquility is a plus. The three outdoor pools are clean and well maintained. The quiet surroundings are convenient if you want a restful night's sleep free from noisy traffic. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.

The customer service at the hotel is well executed. The staff will ensure you feel right at home and like part of the family. They go out of their way to answer queries and hastily solve any concerns a customer may have. The reception staff are especially gracious, ready to lend a hand and polite.

The room is nice and calm. The hotel offers very clean, simple and stylishly furnished rooms. Everything in it works. The rooms are well equipped and have a modern panache.

The air conditioning unit in a few of the rooms appears to be defective as they did not perform according to how they were set, for example warm air being felt during a low temperature setting.

Some guests complained about the state of the showers. They raised concerns about the weak water pressure when taking a shower. It was noted that a number of shower heads and taps needed replacing as they were not working well.

A good number of guests were unhappy with the Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel. The signal was rather weak and unstable. One had to go to the reception area or lobby to connect at a moderate speed.
