Hotel NH Prague City (Prague, Czech Republic)

The hotel is modern and clean with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Some newly-refurbished 'Executive' rooms are located in the hilltop block, and guests love those with terraces opening onto the garden.

NH Prague City is divided into two blocks and the upper part includes a lounge bar which boasts stunning views. The views are equally pleasing on the way up; with the one-of-a-kind cable car carrying guests from one section of the hotel to the other.

Previous guests have been highly complimentary about the breakfasts on offer at the hotel. A vast amount of choice is served every morning and quality of the produce is high.

They say the best things in life are worth waiting for, and wait you must. If you are fortunate enough to be staying the renovated Executive block you will quickly realise that a cable car is not the quickest mode of transport. Breakfast can be a busy affair also, so you may have to wait for a table if you arrive during peak service.

While the hotel is conveniently situated just a five-minute walk from the underground and train stations, some previous guests have been surprised by the run-down nature of the immediate area surrounding the hotel; buildings are dilapidated and there is an unlit underpass to reach shops and restaurants.

Some rooms enjoy views across the park, but you are advised to check with the hotel before you arrive as others overlook a busy road instead.
